In celebration of the Global Handwashing Day, the Rural Health Unit of Dolores conducted a lecture and return demonstration of Proper Handwashing to hundreds of Dolorenian Children at the Dolores Civic Center last October 18, 2018.

Banking on the pop hitsong “Baby Shark”, the Sanitation Inspector, Mrs. Dea Bogaoit, and the staff of the Dolores RHU used the catchy tune of the song to demonstrate the steps in proper hand washing.

The strategy proved effective as the children, one of them being the son of Dolores’ very own Mayor, Robert Victor G. Seares, Jr., were able to perform the handwashing afterwards.

“There are many diseases which we can prevent just by performing the simple and fun steps of proper handwashing”,  said Mrs. Bogaoit.
