With all of their children completing their college education, 16 Dolorenian Families officially exited the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) today in a simple graduation ceremony held at the Dolores Legislative Hall.
For Eliza Cortez of Cardona, a 10 year beneficiary of the program and one of the 16 graduates, it wasn’t just the cash augmentation that helped in the improvement of their living condition, but the regular learnings from the Family Development Sessions that gave them the knowledge and skills on health and family welfare. She promised to continue to live these learnings even after graduating from the program.
Luzviminda Nava of Libtec thanked the program as it opened scholarship opportunitied for her children, one of whom was a beneficiary of the UNIFAST Scholarship which prioritizes 4Ps families.
