The Local Government Unit of Dolores recognized 2 farmers as Farmers of the Year 2024 in the recently concluded Farmers Day as part of the celebration of the Dolores Town Fiesta. The Farmers Day has always been a traditional part of the festivities, but this is the first time the LGU, thanks to the leadership of Mayor Conde T Turqueza, has organized an awards program.
Mr. Cesar B. Ato from Pacac took home the Farmers of the Year Award for the Crops Category, while Mr. Rolando P. Buentipo of Namit-ingan bagged the Livestock Category. Both farmers received plaques of commendation and cash prizes.
