Mayor Conde Turqueza met today with the CARAA Meet 2024 delegates of Dolores to wish them well as they represent their town and province in the regional sporting event which will take place in Apayao this April 15 to 19.
𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟓𝟏 𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 from the Local Government Unit of Dolores funded using the Special Education Fund.
This is one of the programs approved by the Local School Board chaired by Mayor Turqueza, in coordination with the school heads in the Dolores District, to provide allowances to the students who will be representing their town and province to activities outside of Abra.
The athletes will be competing in different sports events in the CARAA Meet which includes volleyball, sepak takraw, billiards, and arnis.
