As part of the efforts to promote health and safety, and to preserve the comfort and convenience of the inhabitants of the community,
𝒑𝒊𝒈𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒖𝒓𝒃𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑫𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔.
For rural areas, piggeries must be situated at least 50 meters away from residential houses, schools, and establishments and at least 100 meters away from all roads.
These are some of the provisions of the proposed municipal ordinance that was subject of the public hearing conducted today at the Dolores Civic Center.
Other provisions of the proposed ordinance include requiring piggery operators to secure barangay clearance, environmental compliance clearance, municipal permit, sanitary permit, and a zoning clearance.
Waters from the septic tanks are also prohibited to flow to the canals, creeks, rivers and the like.
𝑷𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔
Once passed, penalties of One Thousand Pesos (Php 1,000.00) will be collected for first-time violators, Two Thousand Pesos (Php 2,000.00) for second-time violators.
Subsequent offenses will be meted with a penalty of Closure, Fine of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 2,500.00) and imprisonment of three (3) months.
